This one is easy… On pfSense go to the menu:
System > Advanced… Then click the Miscellaneous tab… Go down to: “Skip rules when gateway is down” and check it. If checked, it will make sure the rules are not bypassed when your gateway (vpn client) is down.

can show me how to make a kill switch , so when the VPN gateway goes down no traffic from specified devices go true default gateway to the internet
