If you are like me, you probably got most of your gear at eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Craig’s List, OfferUp, etc. From time to time, things break or they come with missing parts, etc. I don’t know about you, but I go a long way to make my Homelab as nit as possible.
Recently I’ve acquired a APC UPS unit and it didn’t come with the rack mount brackets. After a lot of Googling, I came across this online store called Bottom Line Telecommunication (aka shopblt.com). I decided to take my chances and purchased a pair of the 2U APC ears from them. A couple weeks later and boom, I’ve got them! A hard-to-find ear was delivered by this unknown (to me at least) website! Well done BLT!
On another opportunity, I’ve got a Supermicro SC846 and it didn’t come with the right rack handle. I’ve tried to find it everywhere, including the Supermicro store itself. Guess where I’ve found it again? Yup, shopblt.com saved the day once again. It took 3 months to deliver, that is true. But they did deliver and I am very glad. That was a discontinued part that even the manufacturer didn’t have in their store!
Bottom line is (pun intended), if you need parts for your old homelab, go to https://www.shopblt.com. They probably have it and chances are it will be affordable!
ps: This post is not a sponsored; I have posted it because I truly appreciate them!
